Velvety Pumpkin Soup With Blue Cheese and Bacon

This is for Chef kastberg. Half and Half is half molk and half cream if you live in the french speaking part of Switzerland it is known as Demi Creme (half cream). In england you would use single cream and add water to it. so if the recipe calls for 500m of half and half you would do 250 cream and 250 water. good luck.

Mocha Coffee Mix

i have to give this a 3.5 stars because it seemed too bland-my husband said it tasted more like hot chocolate- so I had to add additional coffee and sugar. took the suggestion to add cinnamon which added to the fragrance. An economical gift with supplies from Costco and jars from Ikea.

Easy Homemade Chili

It is a good base recipe. I omitted the tomato sauce in place of tomato paste. I added 1 tbsp of cumin, and about 1 tblspn ancho chili pepper spice. I used Bush's chili beans, undrained, in place of the other beans, which gave it even more flavor. If you like to spice up your chili this is a good recipe for an advanced cook who can jazz it up.
