Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
This is the base recipe I always use, then I add extras depending on what's available--drizzle chocolate, different nuts, etc. Very good biscotti!

Amazing, the only thing I changed was I didnt use the brandy due to religious resons, but its a huge hit amongst family and friends. I love it and I've made it more than three times so far. Its great over basmati rice!

Apple Ham Grilled Cheese

This was a wonderful sandwich. Being an apple lover I am always ready to try something new. These flavors blended so well together. I think this would also be great made with chicken salad. I will make this often. Thanks for the great recipe.

Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
i had seen this recipe in a magazine and later found it on a box of stuffing. the first time i tried it, i added too much water! oops! it turned out so mushy but we managed to eat about half the dish. i've been scared to try it again, but i'm sure if you follow the recipe it'd be good! i wouldn't use chicken stuffing though, just herb.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
wow. this recipe is a keeper! so simple and quick and quite flavorful! the only change i make was to add a little minced garlic to the sizzling onions. i served this with whole wheat linguine and was asked to make it again two days later.

Cheese Ravioli with Three Pepper Topping

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
Very good, this will be a regular recipe in my house. I used the full amount of broth, giving it time to reduce, and I plan on doing it again in the future. I may try grilling chicken tenderloins on the side to round out the meal, or when my vegetarian friends come around I'll substitute vegetable broth for the chicken. A very flexible, quick, satisfying meal - thanks very much for sharing.

Bread Machine Pumpernickel Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I don't know what went wrong. I made this bread exactly as written using the "optional" ingredients. My husband felt it had too much of a "rye" flavor but I think it's the caraway seeds that were too much (and I am a fan of caraway). It's an okay bread...made for decent toast but as a sandwich bread it was disappointing. I really wanted to love it based on all the wonderful reviews.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
Easy, versatile and delicious! Mix and match flavors. A couple of tips....put the mixture in the fridge for a 15 minutes before forming the balls. Once you form the balls, put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer for another 15 minutes before coating them. Chilling between makes them easier to work with.

Lemon Yogurt Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
Moist yet not too heavy. After reading reviews, I was unsure of how these would turn out. I used a natural powder sweetener instead of sugar, plain yogurt, and I added poppy seeds. The kids loved them. I think the juice over the top at the end is the kicker - nice touch.
