Spiced Slow Cooker Applesauce

This is easy and so delicious. My son wanted "homestyle" apple sauce and I didn't want all the extra ingredients of purchased. He loves it! Delicious on ice cream. Yum Yum!

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed on Sep. 21, 2008 by Whole Chef
I just made a double batch of these on faith. Well, glad I did because the kids are gobbling them up. I'm always looking for healthier versions of traditional foods that my kids will eat. Well, this totally scores! I used frozen blueberries and it worked great. Thanks for sharing!

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed on Sep. 21, 2008 by Whole Chef
My kids wanted biscuits and I refuse to make the traditional "unhealthy" variety. These are the perfect solution. They love them and I'm happy to see them gobble them up. I followed another reviewers suggestion to use shortening (non-hydrogenated vegetable!) instead of butter to lighten them up. Works great! Will double the batch next time!
